Icom IC-F22SR
Designed to meet the demands of the licence free PMR 446 service, the IC-F22SR is aimed specifically at the commercial user or outdoor activity enthusiast who requires a more robust product.
It offers maximum flexibility and instant communication between members of a group in and around buildings and over short distances. This makes it an ideal tool for a huge number of users involved in construction, catering, events management, neighbourhood watch, factories, farms as well as orienteering, walking or rambling.
Requires little training
Simplicity is the key behind the design of this transceiver, so users will require little training. There are only three controls: transmit button, volume control, and channel selector.
For the retail environment
The Icom IC-F22SR is especially useful for the retail environment, allowing management and employees to keep in touch without the interuption of a public address system or the expense and complication of a mobile phone. Customer enquiries, inventory checks and special goods handling can be speeded up, providing better service to customers and increasing productivity.
Extremely lightweight and durable
The Icom IC-F22SR is extremely lightweight. Durability has been built-in and meets tough US military standards MIL-810C, D & E for shock vibration.
Easy channel searching
The Icom IC-F22SR delivers all 8 UHF channels and built in CTCSS signalling capability which allows for more privacy in conversation. Channel searching is easy for the user because the radio automatically does it for you. The auto channel selection function finds a free channel. The radio also has a group call function that allows exclusive groups to use the equipment without interface from each other.
