VP04-HDD2 - 4 Channel system with capacity for two hard drives, Lan and PTZ
The new VP series offers a wide range of features previously only seen in high end systems.
This model includes removeable HDD bay for up to 300GB storage capacity, remote access - view live and playback, and PTZ control from the front pannel, and remotely.
Hard drives (not included): This unit supports 1 x 120, 1 x 200 and 1x300GB HDD sizes.
Remote access:
The included windows software allows you to connect to your DVR remotely over the internet, or LAN, allowing you to view live video, or playback recorded images. The simple user interface also allows you to control PTZ units connected to the unit.
Connection to the network is via an RJ45 Ethernet connection, and the system operates over TCP/IP protocol, with settings being configured via the OSD.
CDRW:
PTZ:
An RS485 interface on the rear of the unit allows you to control PTZ units connected to the system from the DVR.
This allows users to control PTZ units without having to have a keyboard present. You can also do this remotely over the internet, or LAN meaning that you or your end users could remotely change what the domes are looking at; potentially saving you hours of callout time.
Remember, the units can talk to any dome operating on Pelco-P or Pelco-D protocol, allowing compatibility with a wide range of PTZ systems.
Handset:
The unit ships with an IR remote handset.
