The BT In Touch 1000 Careline package has been specifically designed to help those who need care and those who provide care. This package provides an essential ‘lifeline’ and so gives peace of mind and greater independence to a wide range of customers, by offering reassurance that help is at hand at the touch of a button.
Compatibility
The In-Touch System is fully compatible with most current Careline protocols and can just as easily be adopted by an existing Careline organization as it can for a new start-up service.
How it Works
Subscribers to the service will be sent a new BT In-Touch 1000 phone to replace their existing phone. In an emergency the ‘user’ simply presses the orange ‘Lifeline’ button on either the radio pendant or the phone itself, and the In-Touch 1000 immediately contacts the Careline 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Careline agency then handles the emergency.
Peace of Mind
Although surprisingly easy to use the sophistication of the In-Touch 1000 ensures that the alarm will be raised by continually calling the Careline agency (should it be engaged for instance) until the message is received. Furthermore, the In-Touch 1000 automatically switches to ‘handsfree’ mode upon connection, to ease communication.
